Straight Answers to Common Questions
It depends on the location. For major cities within our core zones (Mississauga, Toronto, Brampton, Oshawa, etc.), we offer a 100% Flat Rate with no mileage fees. For addresses outside these flat-rate zones (rural or long-distance), we charge $0.65/km. This mileage is calculated from the edge of the nearest flat-rate zone (round trip).
Our standard rates include up to three (3) distinct attempts at the respondent’s address. We vary these attempts across mornings, evenings, and weekends to maximize success. Note: For long-distance files where mileage applies, the per-kilometer travel fee is charged for each required trip.
Once the documents are served, you will immediately receive an email confirmation. We then prepare a sworn and commissioned Affidavit of Service that complies with all Ontario court requirements. This is your official legal proof that the documents were delivered.
We strive for total transparency. Your base rate covers the service attempts and the preparation of the Affidavit. The only additional costs are for:
Commissioning: Exhibits attached to affidavits ($7 / exhibit).
Speed Upgrades: Next Day / Same Day / Immediate Rush services.
Printing documents: $0.40 / page.
Timelines depend on the service level you choose.
Flat Rates: First attempt within 3–4 business days.
Same Day: Guaranteed attempt within 24 hours if ordered before the daily cutoff time.
Next Day: Guaranteed attempt next business day if ordered after the daily cutoff time.
Rush: Guaranteed attempt within next 4 hours.
Please note: These fees are in addition to the base location rates.
